In his present responsibilities, Gary performs the integral analysis of personal and corporate investments, risk parameters as well as estate and legacy programs.  He then coordinates the individual aspects into the initial written comprehensive plan.  Gary also manages the firm’s information and internet technologies.  He is a  member of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA)  with Series 7, 63 and 65.  He is also a member of the Desoto County Economic Council, past president of the Desoto County Republican Club, immediate past chairman of the Communications Committee of the DeSoto County Republican Executive Committee, and member of the Olive Branch Chamber of Commerce where he is a volunteer for the Connectors.  Gary is a member of the Financial Planning Association of the Mid-South and is currently serving a second term as president for the three state organization.  He is also a national member of the Financial Planning Association and serves on the 2009 President/president elect task force for the Leadership Conference in Denver Colorado. 

 

Mr. Kieffner is a 1987 graduate of Southern Baptist Educational Center where he participated in student government and varsity athletics.   After attending Memphis State University and Northwest Community College where he was on the Deans list, he completed his undergraduate work for a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Christian Brothers University, where he was an Honor’s graduate with a double major in Economics/Finance and Management.  In May of 2001, Mr. Kieffner completed the necessary education and tenure requirements to sit for the two-day comprehensive Certified Financial Planner (CFP) exam.  He passed the CFP exam in July of 2001 on his initial sitting.  Gary has appeared on WREG TV Channel 3's "Live at 9", and has been quoted in the Commercial Appeal, Financial Planning Magazine, as well as the Memphis Business Jouranl where he was chosen as a Spotlight profile.  He also has done interviews on financial topics on WREC radio AM600.

Gary enjoys music, sports, public speaking and teaching.  Some of his classes include “Worry Free College Planning” and “Investing for Generation X’rs”.  Gary is married to Dana and they have three sons, Zachary Lee (9), Tyler Daniel (6) and Connor Glenn (2).  He and his family attend Life Fellowship Church in Olive Branch. Gary also has served as a volunteer head coach in Upwards basketball for Longview Heights Baptist Church, the 7-8 youth baseball as well as the Under 6 youth soccer programs in Olive Branch.  He also is a volunteer for the Watch DOGS (dads of great students) at Pleasant Hill Elementary in Olive Branch.
